I do understand concerns regarding with Plan 2 student loans and the freezing of the repayment threshold. 

I am committed to supporting the aspiration of every person who meets the requirements and wants to go to university, regardless of their background, where they live, and their personal circumstances. The student finance system is designed so that people do not have to pay upfront to study, meaning anyone with the ability and ambition to go into higher education can do so. 

I understand the repayment system in practise works like a graduate tax by paying more as inflation drags up wages. I agree that freezing the threshold for repayments are completely wrong and that the interest rates are ridiculous. I would like to see a wholesale reform on the system for graduates to face less challenges within the student loan system.
